The Purpose of the Consortium:
Established in 2001, the Kansas Housing Resources Consortium was developed to establish a partnership between public housing agencies in the administration of housing programs and the provision of supportive services, providing decent, safe and affordable housing.
The primary goal of the Consortium is to combine agency resources to meet the ever-changing regulatory requirements for compliance. Combining resources can alleviate the stress and frustration of managing a housing authority with limited resources. The role of the Consortium varies according to the needs of the agency.
